Been on a cruise in the Caribbean?
This trip was a blast and one I will always remember. I had just graduated High School and was 18 years old. The cruise was because my grandparents was celebrating their 50th Anniversary and decided to take a cruise with their whole family. The trip was something I will never forget the fun I had with my family on that ship.
We started out of Miami so I had to fly from North Dakota to Miami and meet up with my family there. First time traveling by myself in a strange area what an adventure. I made it just fine to the ship and waited for the rest of my family to show up before getting on the ship. That was really an experience the steps one has to take to get on the ship.
Once on you get settled into your room and get ready for supper meal. They feed you before taking off for your next destination. The food is all inclusive and boy do they feed you. The drinks is what they make the money off of charging a person almost 5.00 a drink. That first night out on a 7 day cruise was lots of fun. Me and my cousins was the only people that stayed up the first night and hung out. We hit every level on the ship and started to realize that we was missing some people in our group. Soon enough more people went missing and was starting to get real freaky. What had happened is there was a spot on the floor we was on that one could sit on the edge of the boat hidden from everyone else. Looking back very dangerous but when you are young you are fearless.
The rest of the trip we went to several islands in the Caribbean my favorite was the stop at St. Thomas. What a great place to see and visit. There was a side of the island that you get the true experience of a Caribbean island some bay that was there. Had a blast swimming in the ocean learning to snorkel and seeing all the fish on the reefs there.
It was a 7 day cruise and packed full of fun and memories with all the places we stopped and things we did. So much fun and one I suggest that everyone at some point in their lives get out and do.

Had completed in advance but decided to split up the topics so the peers can review them separate and leave separate comments.
ReplyDeleteThats sounds like a blast, i think it would be a long paper to write about unless you just picked something on the trip. I think it must have been fun to spend time with your family like that since during a busy life you don't always get to see them as much as you would like. I also know how much fun they are since i just went on a cruise to the carribean and loved it and i deffintly know what you mean by they feed you well. Iam wondering though what all of the islands you went to?
